Kevil’s was founded by Kevin Hill, a motorcycle enthusiast who has been working in the motor industry since the 1980s.
Starting life as a 1980 BMW R100, this satin-black-and-copper-themed flat-twin features the Devon, UK-based workshop’s rear subframe design, complete with purposeful luggage rack – ideal for exploring the byways and green lanes of your local outback.
Dual purpose: style and substance
Serving a truly dual purpose with both on- and off-road capabilities, the Scout borrows many styling cues from BMW’s GS, striking a balance between other more aggressive and utilitarian creations. Fitted with the Kevil’s in-house, stainless-steel, high-level exhaust and brown leather saddle, the Scout was inspired by ‘Sarge’, a street scrambler launched by Kevil’s several years previously.
Details such as the hubs, petrol cap and headlight, painted in eye-catching copper, complete this bespoke creation, which just begs to be ridden.
