Aston Martin and Jaeger LeCoultre

The AMVOX2 DBS Transponder, created solely for owners of an Aston Martin DBS, is both a high-quality timepiece – and a key to the owner’s luxury sportscar.

Aston has worked with Jaeger LeCoultre to design a watch with an integrated transponder circuit, which Aston Martin dealerships can authorise to ‘read’ and communicate with the owner’s specific DBS.

There are many allusions to the marque on the watch itself. The case and dial feature a suspended metallic grey DBS symbol and a discreet Aston Martin emblem is visible on the movement operating indicator. The ruthenium grey bridges, satin finish and distinctive 270-degree sweep of the black dial evoke the DBS’s instrument panel, while an opening in the outer dial ring reveals the watch’s internal mechanisms, just as the brake calipers of a DBS are exposed behind the wheel rims.

A dedicated website gives further details of the launch of the AMVOX2 DBS Transponder. See www.jaeger-lecoultre.com/amvox2dbstransponder.
