Paintings by Alexander Calder, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol might now cost a fortune, but prints and editions present the opportunity to own an original piece from these great artists without having to pledge millions. Bonhams’ ‘Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples’ sale will offer some very interesting pieces. 

While perusing the catalogue, we were impressed by the study of a packaged Studebaker by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, a blue-haired nude by Roy Lichtenstein, a swimming pool by David Hockney and a 1970s cover shot designed by Robert Rauschenberg for Time magazine. There is surely a vacant space in your living room for a mid-century artist.
