Model History
Under the bonnet of the 512BBi works a 12-cylinder engin of 4942cc and 345 horsepower sent to the rear wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox. All in all 1007 cars were manufactured. It is the last of the Berlinetta Boxer model range and was manufactured between 1981 and 1984. The two other BB models were 365 BB with the 4.4liter engine and 512 BB. The BBi was introduced in 1981 at the Frankfurt Motorshow. The difference outside from the 512BB were minimal, the most important part was the change from carburetors to the Bosch K-Jetronic Injection.

Vehicle History
Offered at the National Stadium Auction 512BBi series number 40569 presents itself in a classic color combination of rosso exterior over beige interior. The car was preserved in original condition and has a documented service history. The engine had this year an overhaul at one of Ferrari dealers specialised in vintage Maranello vehicles. Its current mileage is 33900 kilometers. On top of this, the BBi has its original spare wheel as well as an original set of tools, which are both in as-new condition. It is without a doubt a vers interesting car for collectors looking for originality and great condition of a Berlinetta Boxer.
