Beschreibung

1080kg, 195Hp, sexiest body ever and razor-sharp handling… Need we say more?

The late Enzo Ferrari wanted to honour his deceased son Dino in the best way he possibly could: by creating a absolutely beautiful and super driving sportscar that would bare his son’s name: Thus the Dino was born!

The car handled like nothing else on the market because of the relatively light V6-engine (designed by both Dino Ferrari and the renowned engineer Vittorio Jano) being placed midships in the chassis of the car, a first for a Ferrari-roadcar. This allowed for a perfect weight distribution and very direct steering. Thi smid-engine configuration also allowed for the Pininfarina-designed and Scaglietti-built body to be very low and sleek, truely earthbraking at the time, especially being first shown to the public just after the unveilance of the Lamborghini Miura with a similar layout. Both styling and performance have made sure this car is widely seen as one of the prettiest and best-handling cars ever, a true icon!

This is a stunning European example of just 1431 series 3 246GT’s ever built and finds itself in a truely impressive condition throughout. Delivered new in September 1971 through Ferrari Milano, this car still finds itself in a 100% as-original condition:
-matching engine, -gearbox and rear axle
-matching exterior color: Blu Scuro Dino
-matching interior color: Beige 430

Being repainted red at one point in it’s life, the car has come in the hands of Ferrari Eberlein in Kassel, Germany. There they have embarked upon a thourough rebuild of the car including engine, gearbox, electrics, body and interior having just one goal: bringing this special car back to as-new condition. Every stepo of this rebuild has been thoroughly documented in both paper pictures and a cd with lots of digital images.
The icing on the cake is the “Ferrari Classiche certification, which proves the quality and originality of this car.
The last Belgian owner has only covered 6700km’s since restoration and has taken very good care of this beauty.

The result of all of this is a perfectly driving, great sounding and even better looking icon, original in every way and all paperwork to prove it. This car needs nothing except a caring owner to take her for lots of joyful roadtrips!
