Description
This stunning Porsche 964 was first registered in Switzerland on the 31st of January 1990 as a “normal” Carrera 4. In 2004 after a further change of ownership and with then around 120’000 kilometres driven, the Coupé was taken over by a fanatic Porschephile. He clearly cherished his 964 and, in October 2005, installed an original Turbo rear wing. In March 2017 at 133’000 kilometres, a conversion to a full Turbo look, using original Porsche parts, was undertaken. Original steel flares were used and a complete repaint was performed. To fill the now considerably wider wheel wells, a set of Tramont Cup rims in 9 resp. 11x18 inch were installed. In June of the same year the interior of the 964 was recovered in blue and grey leather to match the exterior paint. In December 2009/January 2010 at 144’000 kilometres, a major overhaul of the engine took place. The engine was enlarged to 3.8 litres and optimised with new forged pistons, Carrillo conrods, GT3 oil pump, sports camshaft, new valves and stronger valve springs. Between 2004 and 2016 more than 100’000 Swiss francs (receipts available) were invested in maintenance and conversion of this outstanding Porsche. In the autumn of 2016, the Carrera, with then 149’300 kilometres driven, was sold to the 4th owner, who, in February 2024, passed it on to the vendor. With now roughly 161’500 kilometres driven, the 911 is in very good and very well-maintained condition. The last MOT was completed in April 2022 but for a Swiss buyer the car will be freshly MOT’d as a matter of course.
