A flurry of fine Porsche 911 Turbos head to Bonham’s Paris sale

Bonhams are no stranger to some of Stuttgart’s finest sports cars, but their upcoming Les Grandes Marques du Monde à Paris 2023 on the 1st and 2nd February has a 911 Turbo for every kind of Porsche lover!

You’d be forgiven for mistaking the photos in this article are from the latest Luftgekühlt or Rare Shades meet. Instead, this gaggle of 911s are just a hand-picked selection of a plethora of rare and highly collectable Porsches from a private collection, all to be offered without reserve in Bonham’s upcoming “Great Brands of the World” in Paris, on February 2nd.

We could lust over every model in great detail for some time, but skimming through the incredible selection our eyes are fixated on the vibrant Leichtbau 964 Turbo S from 1993. Estimated between €1,000,000 and €1,200,000, this ultra-lightweight turbocharged 911 is one of just 86 examples ever made, making it perhaps one of the most sought-after Porsches in history. If that wasn’t enough to get you ready to bid, this example has covered just 28,000km from new!

Elsewhere in the sale and flowing nicely from the 964 is the generation that followed it, a Guard Red 993 Turbo that’s often labelled as the last ‘true 911’. With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, this could just be the perfect scarlet gift for your loved one! The Turbo theme continues with multiple Turbos from the late 1980s, all offering a unique opportunity to invest in completely original and impeccably maintained classics that are certain to skyrocket in value.

Our pick from these retro-era machines would be the 930 Turbo that has covered a mere 1,375km since 1989, making it one of the very last in the model lineage and the perfect example to enjoy at every turn of the key and create memories in.
