| A really very nice and desirable 2.4S that is now extremely well sorted following much recent work completed by marque specialists Autofarm. A left hand drive example, this car, finished in Sepia Brown with black interior and featuring the desirable option of Recaro sports seats, was originally supplied to Italy. Following a number of years there, the car was purchased by a Dutch enthusiast. He retained the car until 2002 and looked after the car well as indicated by a number of maintenance invoices on file from a Porsche specialist. The 911 came to the UK in 2002 and was obviously in largely original and good order as indicated in a pre purchase inspection report completed by Andy Prill. The customer who commissioned this report purchased the car and had a major service completed dealing with most of the recommendations made in the report, this work being done by marque specialist Autostrasse. In 2004 the car was offered for sale by renowned Porsche people Gantspeed, an email on file confirms the good original accident free condition of the car and mentions that 50,976 km was on the original speedometer of the car with a further 4,800 miles being covered on the UK mph speedo fitted when the car came to the UK. Well-known Porsche enthusiast Robert Barrie purchased the car from Gantspeed, he sent the car to be serviced and fettle prior to using it on a track day at Goodwood. He used the car minimally, the mileage rising from 4,800 miles to 9,700 miles during his ownership. We purchased the car from Robert in 2008 and sold it very quickly to a Mr Antonio Maschio based in the UK. He used the car very occasionally, covering less than 2,000 miles in his two and a half years of ownership. During his ownership, the car was serviced by Autofarm. We repurchased the car from Mr Maschio in June 2010 and again sold it quickly to one of our best customers with an extensive Porsche collection. He sent the car to Autofarm for a full inspection and subsequent overhaul, invoices on file amount to in excess of £20,000 for work completed - a CD accompanied the invoices to illustrate the fine detail of work completed. All areas requiring attention were addressed, the gearbox was rebuilt, the engine removed, checked over and detailed, as was the engine bay, wheels refurbished and a myriad of detail work to lengthy to mention. We repurchased the car recently and have just had the car serviced by Autofarm. The car has covered 14,000 miles since 2001 and is in really super condition with a really nice original feel. The car drives superbly, it has clearly been very well sorted and set up offering all those great 911 virtues of pace, feedback, sensitivity, charisma and reliability in spades.
