EDITORIAL

With the worldwide launch of the all–new, 991–series Porsche 911 in California just a few days away, we’re delighted to give you a short taster of what the car will be like. Specifically, the noise it makes.

The five sound files you can hear in our story range from the standard "brrm, brrm..." at start–up in a regular Carrera, to a full–on drive–past in a Carrera S Sport. And do dig the stereo effect for the genuine, ear–to–ear "eee–owwww!"

As with the 458 Italia and McLaren MP4–12C, the newest in the 911 series is a genuinely Big Thing and we can't wait to report on it.

It might be a little late for Harvest Festival, but this week's newsletter is an overflowing basket of stories. We hope you enjoy them.
