Editorial

Welcome to the first of four bespoke Classic Insides published before the holiday that will include a special section titled ‘Personal Christmas’. This will be the area where every day a new personality in the world of motor cars or luxury goods will suggest something for you to buy (or receive…) this festive season. I hope you will find some surprises, and an extra-special one on December 23rd.

So don’t forget to check the classicdriver.com home page every day to see what the latest gift is going to be.

We’ve also invested heavily in a new re-design for Classic Driver, that has improved navigation and more features for your consideration – we’re sure that you’ll like it.

Having spent an enjoyable lunch to mark the re-opening of one of the most famous luxury car dealerships in the world, Jack Barclay Bentley in Mayfair, I can reassure readers that none of the original charm of the establishment has been lost in the re-fit. You can read about it below.

And on the subject of Bentley, our German team have been driving the Continental Flying Spur in Berlin recently – and it’s a great car to cruise one of the country’s most vibrant cities.

Until next week,

Steve Wakefield
