Video: Hans Stuck and the 1989 Audi 90 quattro IMSA-GTO car

“When we came to the States with this car, no one could believe what we would achieve….” So says the great German driver in a new video from Audi celebrating the unique sound of its famous five-cylinder engine.

Some classic footage of Stuck in the ultra-modified, 4wd German saloon mixing it with American V8s is interspersed with that of Audi’s latest TT RS road car. The Ingolstadt company would, after all, like you to buy some of its current model range. As the price of watching some evocative American racing from the late-80s, we say “fair enough”.
