In a further phase of the companies’ closer collaboration, Mercedes-AMG and Ducati showed two, striking, high-performance machines at the Bologna Motor Show, identically painted in the arresting shade 'Street Fighter Yellow'.

The Ducati Streetfighter 848 is the latest ‘naked’ 'bike from Ducati and packs a 132bhp 848 Testastretta motor. The Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG is powered by the latest-generation, fuel-efficient V8 capable of producing 422bhp yet having the quite remarkable fuel consumption figure of 8.4 litres per 100 kilometres (NEDC combined) and CO2 emissions of just 195gm/km.

The yellow colour is a standard shade from Ducati, can be ordered from AMG under its legendary bespoke programme and might well appear as a regular option in the future.

AMG has been the Official Car Partner of the Ducati MotoGP team since the start of the 2011 MotoGP season.
