Trabant cars were produced in East Germany, their main market being Eastern Europe. Its most famous model, the Trabant 601, was produced in 1963 and was sold, almost unchanged, until 1991. They are now considered collector's items, as they are symbols of the Cold War era, and their numbers have reduced considerably.
