| From the same highly respected South African manufacturer of the Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe and Noble M12GT now come the definitive recreations of the legendary Le Mans winning GT40s of 1966 to 1969. Such is the degree of precision and authenticity of these vehicles, that more than 90% of all the component parts are interchangeable with the original 1960''s cars'', including the entire ''monocoque'' pressed steel chassis and roof sections, in addition, chassis numbering continues from those of the original production run (GT40P 2000 Series), the cars are legitimately titled and badged as ''GT40''s'' and each is listed in the S.A.A.C. World Registry. A superb endorsement of the quality and accuracy of these ''Continuations'' has been the delivery of the new red/gold Mk I (seen in the photos) to none other than Alan Mann Racing, whose Team success with these cars in the 1960''s is unrivalled. Engines options are Roush/Ford V8''s of 343 c.i. (5.4 litres) and 430 bhp, up to 427 c.i. (7 litres) and 550 bhp. All meet present day stringent exhaust emission regulations for international road use. Transmission is by 5 speed original ZF style transaxle, with right hand sill side gear change. Both Mk I and Mk II body types are available, the former fitted with BRM wheels, the latter with Halibrands shod with either Avon *or* Yokohama correct period profile tyres.
