| The Proteus C Type is a professionally engineered, low volume sports car that takes the evocative shape, sound and appearance of Jaguar’s world beating sports racing car and combines it with excellent handling, high performance and reliability to match a modern car. The car delivers the looks, feel and enormous pleasure of driving a classic car without the attendant reliability and maintenance issues. It is impossible to get out of a Proteus C Type without a grin! The interior of the car is finished to an extremely high level with handmade leather trim. It also sports a clock which was sourced from a MIG Fighter tastefully fitted in the cockpit. The car features a Jaguar 4.2 Litre Straight Six engine with sand cast SU carburettors. Drive is through a 5 speed close ratio gearbox and a limited slip differential. Every part of each Proteus C Type is new at build, with only the engine being a (totally) rebuilt part. This fine 2007 example has competed in the 2008 Jordan Rally on which it performed faultlessly and has covered a mere 9691 miles since build and drives beautifully.
