| In stock now is this lovely Porsche 356A 1600 coupe. A 1958 car it was originally delivered to South Africa, coming across to the UK in early 2008. Chassis number 104280 was built with the normal 1600 engine, it has had a replacement engine at some time but it is the correct engine type for the car. The gearbox is believed to be the original item too. o The car has been fully restored to a lovely standard. Work carried out includes: 1) Engine rebuild including sleeves, pistons, guides, seats and valves 2) Repaint in original silver 3) Interior retrim 4) New floors and sills done by Sportwagen at a cost in excess of £6000 The car has recently been inspected by well respected 356 specialist Andrew Prill who gave it a great write up and a clean bill of health. A fantastic example of the classic 356 ready to be enjoyed. The car will then go to a local independent MOT station for a year's MOT. We tax the car for a year and fill the fuel tank. Next the cars go to our team of professional detailers who spend up to a week preparing the car cosmetically. Any stonechips are removed, the wheels refurbed if necessary and the wheel hubs are painted. The seats are removed and cleaned. Next the car is detailed using Zymol professional products to give a long lasting lustre. Finally, and arguably most importantly, we warranty every car for a year from bumper to bumper, anywhere in the world. This is not a bought in warranty, we stand by each and every car we sell for a year. We believe we are the only Porsche specialist in the UK to offer a service like this.
