A magnificent tribute to one of the rarest and most beautiful Chris Crafts built. The boat is a 21 foot replica of a 1955 Chris Craft Cobra. It was designed and built by Kib Hundley who began building boats in the early 1920 s and grew to be one of the largest Chris Craft boat dealers in the United States. The boat was conceived by Kib and his son Byron who built the boat for their own use. It is a magnificent watercraft that is equipped with today s technology and equipment. The drive train is a new Mercruiser V-8 with less than 100 hours. In addition it is fully equipped with a custom interior, La Carrera steering wheel, custom gauge package, stereo system, a unique bow thruster system, tonneau cover, and custom aluminum trailer. When one looks at this boat, it is difficult to differentiate it from a Cobra built in 1955. However, this boat is comfortable to drive and drives like a powerful well sorted, well designed watercraft designed and built in 2006. This boat in the water is pure enjoyment with the extraordinary looks of the vintage Cobra.
