| MGA ROADSTER 1957 Registered on its original registration number YUG 44 28.03.1957 A beautiful car in rare Tyrolite green with black trim. One owner from 28-03-1957 until 18-09-2001 (44 years) then transferring to the owner’s niece from then onwards. The original owner Mr. Barham was an MG enthusiast and enjoyed the car throughout his 44 years ownership when he passed away his niece inherited the car from him; she also used and looked after it enthusiastically up until very recently when we purchased the car. It was only sold on because of a business venture, meaning funds were needed and she had no more time to look after the car properly. Mr. Barham completed a major restoration in the mid 1990’s the document file has a wealth of invoices and photographs relating to this. County Classics purchased the car mid 2012 and have carried out a comprehensive £6,000 refurbishment program including the following: Fully strip down all trim, carry out high quality cosmetic repaint. Re-paint 4 steel road wheels and refit with new tyres and inner tubes and refurbished hub caps. Fit 2 new 6 volt batteries. Replace fuel sender unit. Replace period look number plates. Re-cover pair of seats. The following items have been replaced: Rear bumper and over-riders Front wing MGA grills. All wing piping. Boot carpet. Headlamp chrome rims. Boot-lid seal. Minor repairs and adjustments – various. Full service. Cleaned and detailed engine bay. Extensive test drive. Full valet and detail. Refurbish clip on side screens with new seals etc. Fully repainted and rust proofed underside (photos detail condition before work). This is a super MGA in very solid condition it runs and drives as it should, has excellent internal and external trim, very clean underside. It comes with a substantial document folder which includes: V5 registration document. Previous MOT’s, Numerous invoices and receipts, Original owner’s manual, Original MGA tune up manual, Parts catalogue, Many photographs of work being carried out, HPI all clear certificate, Heritage certificate, Spare key, Other sundry documents.
