| Arguably the most desirable of all Silver Cloud I configurations, the 7410 was a limited production true coachbuilt car paneled in aluminum over an extruded aluminum skeleton. Only 13 left drives were built 1956-1959 before Rolls Royce decided to economize by supplying standard 4 door sedan bodies to Mulliner for adaptation to their much more numerous 7504 series. This late example, fitted with the large valve large carburetor Continental specification engine, power steering and power operated top is the second to last of these works of art. It was shown on the H.J. Mulliner stand at the 1958 Earls Court Motor Show and subsequently sold into a prominent family who retained it for 31 years until surrendering it in excellent undamaged original condition to us in 1989 with only 80,595 miles enjoyed. The second owner restored the vehicle to show standards, the color layout inspired by our restoration of B152LBA, an H.J.Mulliner Style 7409 Bentley residing in his stable at the time, after which it won 1st Place at the 1991 RROC National Meet in Monterey California. It later passed through the hands of a famed collector/dealer on its way back to Vantage Motorworks, where it was resold to its third registered owner who exhibited the car at the 1996 Concours Automobiles Classiques at Bagatelle, Paris. It was reacquired by us and became part of a significant collection. Although it was in well preserved order, the principals elected to upgrade the restoration even further, including replacement of the interior & convertible top to accommodate their tastes. Strikingly finished in Cashmere Beige with coordinated Cream top & hides piped Tan, it is in virtually flawless show condition throughout.
