The Porsche 356 was the company s first production automobile. It was a lightweight and nimble handling rear-engine rear-wheel-drive 2 door sports car, available in hardtop and convertible configurations. Design innovations continued during the years of manufacture, contributing to its motorsports success and popularity, production ended in April of 1965. The 1965 C Cabriolet is considered the most refined opens car in the entire 356 class, and this particular car is said to be one of the last 200 356s ever built. A very well sorted and strong driving example, the car received a complete restoration in 1987 with regular maintenance and sympathetic care throughout the following years.
