| A very well prepared FIA historic racing 1972 Porsche 2.4S, formerly raced by the beautiful and talented Belgian driver - Vanina Ickx during in the early days of her racing career. Originally prepared for competition use in France during the late 1990’s, the car was first competed successfully in various French Rallies between 1999 -2002 and notably raced by Vanina Ickx at the 2002 Le Mans Classic. In 2006, UK Porsche specialist Jeff Moyes acquired the car and also competed on the Tour Britannia in the same year - 1999 Lyon-Charbonnieres Rally 6th 2000 Vins Macon Rally 6th 2001 Augier Rally 2nd 2002 Lyon-Charbonnieres Rally 4th 2002 Le Mans Classic -Participant 2006 Tour Britannia 7th index In 2008 the car was acquired by the Harrison collection and sent to be fully prepared by respected UK Porsche specialists – Gantspeed Engineering Ltd. Gantspeed have subsequently carried out extensive work to the car including a full engine and transmission rebuild to 2.7 RS specification and have extensively rectified all older bodywork corrosion. The car is fitted with a full roll-cage, race seats and harness, RS spec engine, twin-oil cooler, lightweight fibreglass bonnet and engine lids. (Original bonnet and engine lid come with the car). Complete with file copies of all Gantspeed preparation work. Plus current UK FIA papers (Historic Technical Passport no: GB 6444) and previous Federation Francaise Passeport Technicque. The car is currently French (EU) road registered and can be supplied with either French or UK registration.
