| Probably one of the most correct and original 1970's Corniche convertibles in existence. Finished in Roman Bronze, with its original factory beige leather, and superb beige everflex roof. Even the tool kit and factory soft top cover envelope are still in excellent condition. It has covered a believed genuine 57,000 miles from new. The condition of the coachwork is first class, with the superb panel alignment and gaps that these hand-built cars came with. The doors/windows and hood, for example, still line up perfectly - this cannot be said of many Corniches of this age! The engine compartment also bears witness to the low mileage with expert stewardship and maintenance, with all components and fittings as they should be in terms of position, condition and finish. This is a car still worthy of the Rolls Royce name and all that goes with it. Our founder started his career on these cars, working in a Rolls Royce/Bentley specialist workshop in the early 1980's. He has been working on them ever since, both for the factory at Crewe, and public clients. He therefore knows them well from all standpoints, including the most technical details. Many of these "shadow" era cars have now almost irretrievably deteriorated, the roadworthy survivors suffering from the lack of detailed and expert maintenance that these thoroughbreds require. What a delight then to find a car that we are happy to endorse. It is evident immediately to a connoisseur that this car has been looked after and cherished its entire life. It drives like a car that has done 57,000 fastidiously maintained miles - there is simply nothing else to say. The difference in driving pleasure and handling is everything.
