Wearing the familiar Martini colours, the Integrale in question will be instantly recognisable to the initiated as one of the 400 ‘Martini 5’ editions produced –#124 to be specific. Based upon the Evolution model (which brought a wider track and arches, and more power), the Martini 5s were made to celebrate five consecutive WRC manufacturers’ titles, which became six shortly afterwards. But there’s something a little more special about this car in particular, as the £90,000-110,000 estimate might suggest…

Initial delivery of the car took place in 1992, when the supplying dealer drove it 31 miles from the showroom to its new custodian. Amazingly, it literally hasn’t moved a mile since, being kept in what Silverstone Auctions refers to as ‘perfect storage conditions’ – and because it remains unregistered, it’s yet to undertake its maiden voyage in private hands.
If you’re after a super-low-mileage Italian classic but the Delta is a little too overt for your tastes, Silverstone Auctions’ Race Retro catalogue also boasts a more understated alternative: a manual, single-owner Ferrari 456 M with a mere 400 miles on the odometer, carrying an estimate of £75,000 – 90,000. The 2015 Race Retro auction will take place on 22 and 23 February 2015 at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry, UK.
