Bugatti for sale

Despite its Italian owner, Bugatti was a company based in France. Its founder, Ettore Bugatti, made car fabrication a true art, but at the same time was passionate about racing. That unusual combination stimulated the production of some magnificent models. His death in 1947 resulted in the company's closure a few years later. An attempt to revive the company in 1987 was financially unsuccessful, and Bugatti once again closed its doors in 1995. A second attempt was made in 1998, and today the company is owned by the Volkswagen Group.
