Description

"It is fair to say that Lancia is best known for its motorsport prowess, both on the circuit from the LC2 Group C cars all the way through to the rally stages of Europe starring the 037, Stratos and Delta Integrales. Going back a bit though, the Fulvia was the headline act and the independent suspension, all-round disc brakes and narrow angled, V4 engine that powered this example. Indeed, the ‘Sport’ variation was commissioned by Lancia to Zagato as more aerodynamic and sportier version of the coupé and which could also be used in both road and track competitions.
The vendor acquired this rare and fast appreciating right hand drive Zagato-bodied Fulvia some 20 years ago. It has been stored indoors, for much of the vendors ownership, and has been treated to a comprehensive restoration taking the car back to its shell. At this point the mechanics and the bodywork where stripped and restored and the body repainted in the superb dark blue coachwork you see today. Indeed the interior was also completely restored and looks superb. Offered with a sizeable history file including sundry bills and invoices relating to the restoration, photos of the car, various MoT test certificates and its current UK registration document. This is a very rare car indeed, offered in excellent order throughout it’s an opportunity not to be missed. Consigned by Daniel Godin
