Ten examples of the 275 GTB/4 N.A.R.T. Spyder were built, after Le Mans winner Luigi Chinetti convinced Ferrari to produce a small batch of these elegant, powerful convertibles. One of the ten fortunate owners was Chinetti’s friend Eddie Smith (pictured), who owned it all the way up until his recent death.
Now the Smith family has made the difficult decision to pass the Ferrari – chassis number 10709 – into new ownership. The proceeds will apparently be used for charitable purposes.
