OVERVIEW
Over the past seven decades, Porsche has delivered amazing levels of automotive performance to enthusiasts all over the world. With each successful iteration of the now iconic 911, innovative ideas, performance pinnacles, and subtle design advances have gracefully evolved the ongoing heritage architecture that defines the 911. Perfectly balanced with a range of models to suit tastes and driving conditions, the GT3 was derived to meet the growing needs for performance models derived from prolific 911 motorsports achievements. Offered first in 1999 as part of the 996 model range, the GT3 option package was focused on racing with impressive performance figures and purposefully spartan interior trim.

For those seeking a unique variant of the track-inspired iteration, the “Touring” version was made available in 2018. Prepared at the factory without the tall GT3 rear wing, Porsche installed a modified retractable spoiler similar to the Carrera GTS. The tailored spoiler included a Gurney flap and 20-degree deployment angle. The design resulted in a stealthier exterior appearance when compared to the typically seen GT3, yet still improved downforce at high speeds both automatically and under manual adjustment from the driver’s seat. Touring package 911 models were all exclusively prepared with the 6-speed manual transmission and featured leather over Alcantara.

Engine sounds with the retractable wing are unique to the Touring model as the air filters are conic high flow BMC type which are membraned inside the air chambers beneath the rear wing and Gurney flap. Performance figures are consistent with the GT3, which is to say, spectacular. The resultant 0-60 mph times of 3.3 seconds, 11.5 second quarter mile, and 195 mph top speed numbers confirm what everyone desires in a Porsche at this level of engineering. Impressive steering and suspension with an overall ride that is surprisingly comfortable. These combined features make the Touring Package GT3 a “best of both worlds” 911.

This beautiful and highly optioned GT3 Touring was under first ownership in Western Washington including services performed at Porsche Bellevue, WA. The car was sold in February 2020 to the second owner in Dallas, TX and then returned to Western Washington under current ownership. All three of the owners accumulated minimal miles with interval services performed including oil and filter changes, brake fluid flush, and spark plug replacement. Two new rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires were installed in August 2021 with 8,158 miles recorded at that time.

Given the numerous standard performance features offered in the GT3 package, this car was further enhanced and delivered new with the following factory options:

Rarely seen in such exemplary condition, this GT3 Touring features the best features of the 911 performance GT3 with the added comforts of the Touring package.

Today this Porsche presents in excellent condition with smooth original factory paint and body panels protected by professionally applied Paint Protection Film (PPF) on the full front of the car, side view mirrors, rocker panels, and the upper forward portion of the rear body panels. All factory features are exceptionally well detailed showing no significant marks or flaws other than a few light rub marks on the lower portion of the front spoiler. The factory body panels are in excellent condition showing tight fit for the doors, hood, and engine lid and crisp factory fit along the front and rear bumpers. The smoothly concealed rear wing is a subtle touch when parked, but jumps to action at speed, reminding anyone disappearing in the rearview mirror of the impressive GT3 4-liter engine. Beautifully paired satin black wheels are in excellent condition with bright six and four pot red brake calipers visible through the alloy spokes. The cleanly designed rear end is further enhanced by the massive flared rear fenders allowing for maximum high speed air flow and downforce stability. The lurid visual presence of the GT3 Touring is powerful and authoritative, yet delivered in a refined, unsuspecting way.

The original black leather interior is essentially new throughout with only minor evidence of use to a few of the typical high-touch areas. The interior features excellent leather finishes, beautifully preserved door panels, and near new carpeting. The leather seating surfaces are supple and beautifully maintained, artfully finished in black leather backed by equally engaging lightweight carbon fiber molded seatbacks. The dashboard features a cluster of beautiful factory gauges, entertainment system, and the desirable Sport Chrono option with preparation for Lap Trigger peeking out from the center of the dashboard. The leather wrapped steering wheel, leather steering column, leather gear shift handle, center console, and silver-gray seatbelts all remain in like-new condition. Every aspect of the interior is fresh, crisp, and beautifully maintained, exhibiting all the traits of a documented 9,000 mile, professionally serviced high-performance sports car.

The engine compartment and trunk retain a stock exterior appearance, though much of the engine itself is concealed in the beautifully draped body metal and precisely engineered air management ductwork. The engine compartment is clean and properly detailed, displaying the original cosmetic features including the GT3 engine shroud housing twin cooling fans, and fluid service ports. Underneath the car is a technological display of carefully engineered aerodynamic features including various openings and air management systems aiding in brake cooling and cornering control. Every aspect of the car from the inner panel surfaces, original body and paint finishes, leather interior, and chassis supports the originality and thoughtful care this car has enjoyed since delivered new. This beautifully preserved Porsche 911 GT3 Touring is offered with the factory owner’s manual and leather case, along with two keys.

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the best of both worlds with the astonishing performance capacity of a North American delivery GT3 factory configured with the Touring package. Highly optioned and meticulously prepared, this GT3 Touring will impress any performance enthusiast who seeks the very best in technical engineering, touring comforts, and superb design, all perfectly captured in the timeless 911 Porsche.
