EXTERIOR
A rarity indeed; a 996 stripped back and resplendent in it’s Motorsport colour – Carrara Weiss. The purity of the GT3 form can be enjoyed for it’s simplicity, with pristine paintwork that drapes over the aerodynamic lines of this race bred Porsche perfectly.

The vulnerable front splitter shows only the lightest of use with lights, trim and badges all in excellent condition showing minimal wear over its life.

INTERIOR
The interior is very much true to function and remains a fusion of both race car and road car. The full black roll cage certainly adds the feeling that this is a serious machine that needs treating with some respect. Synonymous with this era of Porsche, the leather covered bucket seats are in excellent condition with only the lightest shine showing use to the drivers bolster. However with no wear marks or tears the Clubsport spec seats hug both driver and passenger tight.

The view out over the front of the white bonnet is matched with a jigsaw of black roll cage visible in the rear view mirror – a real Cup car environment!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 3.6-litre flat-six starts with an initial burst of energy and then clatters and rattles to a purposeful idle. The move to fly-by-wire throttle transforms the feel of the flat 6, with mid range immeasurably improved over the the 1st generation car.

The gearbox offers it’s familiar resistance from cold although once warmed feels slick and intuitive – perfectly matched to the improved performance of the engine.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The freshly refurbished lightweight alloys look stunning in sparkling silver wrapped in brand new matching N rated Michelin Pilot Sport rubber.

Braking performance is significantly improved and much more feelsome thanks to 6 piston calipers at the front of the car. The signature Porsche red calipers show particularly well gleaming through the spokes, with discs and pads showing plenty of life and cross drilled openings free of pad deposits.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Porsche Centre Hamadayama, Japan, this rare Carrara white Gen II has enjoyed a regular service routine with intervals at 3, 7, 17, 29, 34 and 37,000kms.

Fully inspected and serviced in the UK by the Porsche Main dealer it is ready to be enjoyed with complete peace of mind.

The history file features all book pack literature from new as well as an unused spare key still in it’s original wrapping.
