This is an extreme road car that is a tribute to Aston Martin's Le Mans racing programme. Appealing to collectors as well as pure driving enthusiasts, the special edition was strictly limited to just 150 examples. From nose to tail GT8 is every inch the road racer. Wide-bodied with aerodynamics that clearly take their lead from the 2016 Aston Martin WEC race car, it features extensive use of carbon fibre with the front splitter, front and rear bumpers, fenders, side sills, rear diffuser and rear wing all fashioned from the lightweight material. Vantage GT8 is a true thoroughbred with a super-sharp chassis tuned for track focused agility. It is powered by a revised 446PS version of Aston Martin's race proven 4.7 litre V8 engine and in addition to its dramatically sculpted carbon fibre bodywork it features a comprehensive suite of further weight saving carbon fibre components to enhance performance and dynamics including lightweight seats and interior door panels.
